Overview

Hellward is a 3D Tower Defense game set in a Hellish landscape in the midst of a war between Angels and Devils. You play as the Archdevil, protecting your land in the last stand against the invading army of angels. To combat them you have to collect resources in the night and set up defences to prepare for the day when the waves of angels are set to attack.

You Are The Devil.

After being oppressed by Angelic forces for years, you have been forced back to your fortress at the heart of the Underworld. Using your limited resources and land, it is up to you to make sure that your regime is not destroyed. Building towers to hold back angelic entities in a Hellish battlefield, you will be at the forefront of the battle. Will you bring greatness back to Devilkind, or will you just become another fallen army? Only time will tell.

Repurpose The Supernatural World

Harvest the resources occurring in your land and turn them into the Towers you will use to defend your base. With the Hellite, Infernal Bark and Soul Fibre from the battlefield, you will create your weapons.

Prepare the Battlefield

Strategically build and place towers to fight back the Heavenly Hordes on your front doorstep. By successfully fortifying areas, you can hold back their forces.

How to Play

Getting to grips with Hellward is simple, mastering it though is not so easy. You can find the brochure here with more information.

Mouse - Create Towers on nodes and collect resources. Also interact with menus and UI.

W, A, S, D - Move on map

Escape - Pause game

Numbers - Switch between viewpoints.
